Your Move Jan 2007
Your Move's guide to what's happening in Liverpool. Sutton Kersh Auctions has announced total sales figures for 2006 at a remarkable £36,950,150 following their final auction in November.
The achievement marks record sales figures throughout the year, with an average success rate of 85% and on auction reaching over 95%. Commenting on business throughout 2006, director James Kersh said: "The year has been very buoyant in terms of the auction market; it has continued on a steady path, with steady price rises and steady levels of interest and demand."
Sutton Kersh's final auction of 2006 ended the year with sales of £6.1 million. There were a number of excellent commercial opportunities, but again it was the residential investments that pulled in the buyers.
The company is planning to extend their auction services next year and they have now expanded into London with the launch of Sutton Kersh Binstock with their first auction in the Watford Ramada on 22 March 2007.
